The bold but irresistible step of becoming a full-time artist and photographer nearly 30 years ago allowed me the confidence in the uniqueness of my own and interesting eye, giving me freedom from the constraints and limitations of more conventional avenues.
I use my camera the same way I do a brush or any other tool I use to create the images which are so important to me. I particularly seek to capture those moments of inevitable chance in the making of the work, and particularly what happens with light in that moment.
